Smart Safety Assistant
- Alessandro is going back home after an intensive day of work. He must travel by car for about an hour and he is quite tired. At the moment of starting the journey, he is immediately identified by the system (KL), which can retrieve related information about the current driver based on his previous journeys. The eye-tracking module (TOB) and the expression module (NV) are also set on Alessandro’s profile. In this case, the FANCI system activates “safety mode” and tries to alert and engage the driver. The level of alert can be:
- For example, if the Smart Music Player is on, the system can warn the driver by playing back an alert message or increasing the volume of the music (or change genre of music) in order to shake and keep the driver awake and attentive.
- The virtual assistant could have a conversation with the driver, tell the driver a joke or offering to call a friend to have a conversation while driving.
- The virtual assistant could have recorded message of high level alert to engage the driver’s attention with forceful messages.
